Automatic Optimization
When you upload images, the system automatically:
Converts to WebP - A modern format that loads faster
Creates multiple sizes - Different sizes for different uses
Preserves quality - Maintains visual quality while reducing file size
You don't need to resize or compress images before uploading.
Alt Text Best Practices
Alt text helps:
Screen readers describe images to visually impaired users
Search engines understand your images
Display a description if images fail to load
Good alt text examples:
"Modern kitchen with white cabinets and marble countertops"
"Living room interior with grey sofa and wooden coffee table"
"Before and after bathroom renovation comparison"
Poor alt text examples:
"Image 1"
"Photo"
"Kitchen"
Tips
Name files descriptively before uploading (e.g., "marina-bay-kitchen.jpg")
Always add alt text - It's important for accessibility and SEO
Upload high-quality originals - The system will optimize them for you
Check file size for videos before uploading
