Track which enquiries you've handled by updating their status.

Available Statuses

New

Just received

Default for all new enquiries

In Progress

Being handled

You've started working on it

Completed

Fully resolved

Customer has been helped

Archived

No longer active

Old enquiries you want to keep but hide

How to Update Status

  1. Open the enquiry you want to update

  2. Click the Status & Notes tab

  3. Find the Status dropdown

  4. Select the new status

  5. Click Save

  1. New enquiry arrives - Status is automatically "New"

  2. You read and start responding - Change to "In Progress"

  3. Customer is helped - Change to "Completed"

  4. After some time - Archive old completed enquiries

Filtering by Status

To see only enquiries with a specific status:

  1. Go to the Enquiry Submissions list

  2. Use the filter options (if available)

  3. Select the status you want to see

Or simply look at the Status column to quickly scan.

Tips

  • Update status immediately - Don't wait until you're done

  • "In Progress" is your friend - It shows others the enquiry is being handled

  • Archive periodically - Move old completed enquiries to keep your list clean

  • Check "New" daily - Aim to respond to new enquiries within 24-48 hours
