Website Traffic

The Website Traffic tab shows data from Google Analytics 4 (GA4), helping you understand how visitors interact with your website.

Key Metrics

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see four important numbers:

Active Users

The number of unique visitors to your website during the selected period. Each person is counted once, even if they visit multiple times.

Sessions

The total number of visits to your website. One person can have multiple sessions if they visit on different days or after being away for 30+ minutes.

Page Views

The total number of pages viewed. If one visitor looks at 5 pages, that counts as 5 page views.

Bounce Rate

The percentage of visitors who leave after viewing only one page. A lower bounce rate is generally better, as it means visitors are exploring your site.

Understanding the Sparklines

Each metric card shows a small trend line (sparkline) at the bottom. This shows how the metric has changed over the selected period:

  • Upward trend - The metric is increasing

  • Downward trend - The metric is decreasing

  • Flat line - The metric is stable

Sessions Over Time Chart

Below the key metrics, a larger chart shows your daily sessions over time. Hover over any point to see the exact number for that day.

The chart header shows:

  • Total - Sum of all sessions in the period

  • Daily Avg - Average sessions per day
